Back to Texas!

After over a week in Florida, it was back to Texas for another 9 days. We went to the Ft. Worth Zoo, which was fun, but hot! They had a little train that went around the park so of course we had to ride that. The boys were very much pooped by the end of that visit!

In between going out, the boys of course had to ride the tractor. Drew helped Pops mow the lawn a few times and he also helped Father pick up stuff and dump stuff with the tractor. We went to visit the horses across the street. They had new babies recently so the little ones were so cute! It was just fun to let them run around and play without any boundaries or worrying about them getting into anything bad! We picked blackberries, blew dandelions and played on the swing set. They were naked half of the time, but hey, thats country livin' right?

We went to Glen Rose to the Safari drive through. It had lots of animals that just loved to come up to the cars to get food. There were tons of deer and antelope and the boys loved feeding them! We ate at the restaurant perched at the top of the place and its was a blast. I do recommend something like that to anyone with little kids!

My grandmother did have a stroke while we were there and had to be transported to the hospital during the middle of the night. It turned out to be another minor stroke, but scary nonetheless! She is okay now and thankfully she came back from the hospital before we left so we could spend more time together!

It was a good trip. It was hard to leave, but at the same time it was time to come home and find some sort of routine again! We will be back before we know it!
I made yet another slide show because of the number of pictures...Im sorry if you get bored! The pictures pretty much sum up what I wrote about above.
