I know Im a day late, nonetheless, its still the new year! We rang in the New Year with our good friends Clay and Dylane and their girls. We went to dinner before and then we decided to try something new this year: we went to the Provo's First Night. It was super cheap and indoors so it was warm! A little too warm, if you ask Brian. He was so hot inside that he couldnt wait to get out! There were tons of things to do for adults and kids and tons of people! The kids got their face painted and we saw some dance acts as well. We didnt quite see everything, but we could have been there for many more hours!

There is that cute boy again!
Reina and Drew. We are just taking a lot of pictures for their wedding slide show!

Austin getting his face painted. He is such a good boy when it comes to this kind of stuff...getting a haircut is a breeze for him!
The finished product!
The girls got cute butterflys! Austin had a hard time staying still. Drew, on the other hand, did not want one, that is why he is not in the picture!
Reina and Eva were quite the dancers that night. Austin was right there with them cutting a rug, too!
Brian hitting the hammer thingy game...or whatever it is called. No one could get it as high as he and Clay!
We finished the night back at our house with watching the fireworks out our back windows at midnight. It was a great show! We had a big sleepover with the Swensen's and woke up and had breakfast. Drew was very excited to wake up and play with the girls and Austin got really excited to see Uncle Clay walking up the stairs in the morning!
We had a great New Years and had an awesome time with the Swensen's!
Later on New Year's night, we went out for dinner and bowling. Drew loves to bowl and Austin had his first time bowling. Austin was a pill, but it was fun to take the boys and Drew beat all of us!

i love how Austen waits for the signal to start dancing...so cute. looks like a lot of fun. our girls didn't make it to midnight, they were both out about 20 minutes before. but Eloy and I finally got to watch Hancock. i know Brian had raved about it...very funny show.
good resolutions, btw....i also want to become better at sitting down with each of my kids for a little teaching time.
