Snow, snow, snow! Everyone here is getting bombarded with snow and to be quite frank- Ive had enough! It is a real pain when you are trying to drive around and fly in and out of Salt Lake! The boys played in it the first few days, but after that, they have had no real interest in it! I usually like to shovel (its a good work out. especially for the abs!) but I am done. I have been grateful for the fact that my Dad and Mom have done some of it!

Everyone thinks their kid looks like the little brother on "A Christmas Story"...well, mine does too!

Random cuteness displayed by Austin while getting ready for some shopping!
My Dad made it in on time (11:30 pm Monday night) and soon enough it was Christmas Eve already! We went tubing up at Soldier Hollow that day and had a blast. Drew actually liked it better than I thought he would and Austin hung in there as long as he could! He couldnt go down the runs, but could go down a little one and play at the bottom. He was very cold!
The boys were super excited to open their "Christmas Eve" gift and Austin could hardly wait long enough to get his diaper on!

Drew, opening his one gift.

Aussie opening his while getting his diaper on!
Christmas morning was fun, it seems to be more and more fun as the boys get older. They woke up at their usual time (between 7:30 and 8 am) and were extremely excited to see what Santa brought them! He brought Austin a kitchen and a shopping cart (and a few other things), Drew a transformer, scooter, legos, books, trucks, etc, etc. The list goes on! Once again, they made out like bandits! Spoiled little boys! They ate candy all morning and played all day!
Later on, we had reservations to eat Christmas dinner at Sundance. We got all ready and before we headed up, we went to the Spanish Fork Festival of Lights and it was very cool! The boys loved the lights and it was just the right amount to keep their attention. My Mom has pictures on her camera, but I didnt get a chance to up load them. If you havent done it, it is well worth the 5 bucks!
We headed up the canyon to Sundance only to find that the road leading up to it was closed. They were doing avalance work. Why did they have to do it right when we were supposed to go up? Why????? We were mad! We were looking forward to a great dinner (if you havent eaten there either for brunch or a dinner service, you are missing out! It is the best restaurant in the whole valley!) and a fun time up there. So, we had to turn around and find a plan B. And, the plan B was to eat at China Town. We felt like we were in "A Christmas Story" all over again! It was good as usual- but not our ideal choice for a Christmas night dinner. It was fun though!
My Mom left today after a very short trip. That went by way to fast and we didnt do all of the things that I wanted to do with her here, but oh, well. There will always be a next time! She did some wonderful cooking and baking and spent some good time with the boys! My Dad is still here and will be until the 30th. Although his trip is not over, we had a great time with both my parents here and I am so sad that it went by so fast! It was a great Christmas once again! Ill be posting the rest of the pictures and the second leg of my Dad's trip here soon!

Hey! Merry Christmas...It looks like you guys were really busy.
We need to make plans..maybe we can take the boys to the childrens museum at the Gateway and get out of the cold.
Looks like you had a great Christmas! You boys are so cute all bundled up like that. And they do totally look like the boy from a Christmas Story. So CUTE!!
