Happy 4th of July!

We had a wonderful, but hectic Fourth of July! We started out in Kaysville with the fun water parade. Drew didnt like the water at all, while Austin loved every minute of it and got soaked. Brian slipped and fell while being chased by some kid with a bucket of water and broke his flip flops. He also hurt his bottom pretty bad! So, with me forgetting to put shoes on Drew before we left and Brian breaking his flip flops, 2 out of 4 of us didnt have shoes for the day. But the parade was so much fun. We love coming up there every year!
After the parade, we got some lunch and headed over to Steven's house for some swimming. The boys had a blast swimming with their cousins and Aunts and Uncles. I got a new swimsuit so it was nice to finally get in and have some fun with the boys! Austin is a maniac in the water and Drew is too. They went down the slide (partially) and loved jumping off of the sides.
After swimming, and suffering from sheer exhaustion, we went to Brad's house. We had a BBQ there and watched some fireworks and did some of our own.
It was a busy day, again. It seems that when Brian's brother and sister are in town the days we spend together are just non stop. And with two little boys it is even harder! We didnt get home until 11:30 that night. Drew had a major meltdown before we left Brad's saying that he wants to live in Texas with Pops. He was really crying hard and very emotional, but I think most of it was due to the fact that he was so tired.
