On Monday, we went to the zoo with the Swensens. We had a blast! It was a perfect day for a visit. We saw all of the usual suspects, with my favorite being the giraffes! Drew loves playing with Reina and of course, Uncle Clay. He just adores him. Austin loved being able to walk around somewhere fun and exploring the world of walking upright. We love doing things with the Swensens and are so glad that they called to go to the zoo!

Hello Elephant! Apparently this elephant is pregnant and I thought a Rhino was the dad. (you had to be there)

My neighbor told me about the new carousel. That sounds really fun. Is it the same price as the train? We haven't been to the zoo in a long time. And I bet it was a good workout for little Austin! Keep going there and he'll be sprinting in no time!
man, we gotta get ourselves to the zoo one of these days. it's been nice and cool lately that i don't think it would be that bad even in the summertime. Austin is looking like a pro, now! look at him go, i can't wait until i get to see him walking in real life and with clothes on, hopefully:)
